Today,
in school, during my mother tounge class...
my teacher talked about parents as our role models..
And for me...
My role model is of course my mom!
It has been so hard on my mom....
Since the day i knew her...
she is just like a super woman to me...
I want to thank mom,
for the love,
you have given me....
From the first day i knew \you,
your gentle hands were there to hold me...
shelter and cradle me with kindness...
As i grew,
you kept me from harm,
warm from the cold,
and shield from the pain of hunger...
You led me to the first time calling "Mommy" & "Daddy"
You helped me take the first timid step out of my devastating life before..
As i grew older,
you stayed strong by my side..
kissing away boo boos ..
and wiping away tears...
Fight with girlfriend & boyfriends....
seemed insurmountable...
until you patient voice calmed me..
Teaching me basic manners,
teaching me from right & wrong..
choosing dresses...
you did it all..
Never did i hear your complain or falter,
in your devotion to me..
Because of this,
I've grown strong and proud ,
with your love...
